The Philomath Area Chamber of Commerce is an organization of businesses from in and around Philomath working with local officials, community organizations and chamber members to maintain Philomath as a great place to live and locate business. The Philomath Area Chamber of Commerce provides a focus for local business people to come together and link to the broader community. The Philomath Chamber is a membership organization governed by an active Chamber Board.

The Philomath Area Chamber of Commerce provides members with opportunities to come together for monthly programs, committees and annual events while promoting business, addressing issues of common concern and contributing to the larger Philomath Area business community.

Chamber Forum Luncheons are held the the third Thursday of each month from noon to 1:00 pm at United Methodist Church at 1101 Main Street in Philomath.  These luncheons bring the general membership and guests together for networking, in addition to inviting speakers who give topical presentations of interest to our business.  

The next Chamber Forum will be Thursday, September 16th, from noon to 1pm at College United Methodist Church.  Reservations are needed by Tuesday, September 14th. The speaker will be Todd Stanbury, Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director at Oregon State University. The luncheon will be catered by Philomath Subway.

 Business After Hours are held the fourth Wednesday of each month at the host's business location from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.  Chamber members and guests snack on appetizers, while getting a look inside fellow business owners operations, and networking with other attending these informal getherings. 

Chamber Ambassadors are a group of individuals who specialize in welcoming new businesses to the community, offering support and assisting business owners with ideas to help promote their business. The ambassadors are available to help you with planning and promoting special events, grand openings and anniversary events.  Contact the Chamber Office for more information.

Samaritan Awards - Philomath is known as the "City of Volunteers."  The Chamber takes great pleasure in hosting this annual event to honor the volunteers who have been selected by their specific organization for recognition.  READ MORE

The Philomath Classic Car Show is an annual event sponsored by the Philomath Area Chamber of Commerce. The car show is at the Philomath City Park located at Applegate Street & 23rd Street. READ MORE

Christmas Tree Lighting - Each year, in early December, the Philomath community gathers together on the lawn of the Benton County Museum to celebrate the season by the official lighting of the Philomath Christmas tree.  Caroling, refreshments and a visit by Santa are features of the event.
